The Story of DaveArt

– a part of hockey history

David Gunnarsson, the artist behind DaveArt, has been painting as long as he can remember. Back then it was just a dream and his only real choice for a career.

Growing up in the countryside…his grandfather told him he would become a farmer and take over the family business. But David´s greatest passion was art, he painted all the time and when he didn’t paint he would brainstorm new paintings with his fantasy and creativity.

30 years of DaveArt.

All built with airbrush, brushes… and a never-ending passion for paint. 🎨🔥

From the studio…
to the NHL…
and now… to the museum.

I’m truly thankful and grateful to have been able to live my dream as a full-time artist for 30 years.

Incredible to see so many people step inside the world of “Stories on Masks” today at Vetlanda Museum.
Talking paint, hockey, and the stories behind every mask… this is what it’s all about. ❤️

Grateful for this journey.
Grateful for everyone being part of it.
