The Story of DaveArt
– a part of hockey history
David Gunnarsson, the artist behind DaveArt, has been painting as long as he can remember. Back then it was just a dream and his only real choice for a career.
Growing up in the countryside…his grandfather told him he would become a farmer and take over the family business. But David´s greatest passion was art, he painted all the time and when he didn’t paint he would brainstorm new paintings with his fantasy and creativity.

When Dave paints a a hockey mask it is not just a painting, it is a Story.
The most important elements when creating an artwork on a mask are storytelling and creativity, to be able to think outside the box and transform the mask into a story.
