This is the best man I will ever know! He was my husband, my best friend, my love and my life. Aaron passed away from congestive heart failure on Monday morning. He was diagnosed in February of this year. He was a proud man and didn’t want to share his diagnosis with many people. And he always told me he was going to fight this and live way longer than they gave him. But my sweet gentle giant of a man wasn’t able to stay with me any longer. Thank you for all of your likes and follows of his work. Taking photos and editing them was more than a hobby to Aaron it was a passion. Also thank you to all who have commented on his passing and sent him DMs. I loved him more than words can express and living without him will be the biggest challenge of my life. The Story of DaveArt

– a part of hockey history

David Gunnarsson, the artist behind DaveArt, has been painting as long as he can remember. Back then it was just a dream and his only real choice for a career.

Growing up in the countryside…his grandfather told him he would become a farmer and take over the family business. But David´s greatest passion was art, he painted all the time and when he didn’t paint he would brainstorm new paintings with his fantasy and creativity.

To paint a hockey mask… when Dave does it

When Dave paints a a hockey mask it is not just a painting, it is a Story.

The most important elements when creating an artwork on a mask are storytelling and creativity, to be able to think outside the box and transform the mask into a story.
